Interhuman AI, a Danish startup building a social intelligence layer for AI systems, has secured €2 million in pre-seed funding. The round was led by PSV Tech and included contributions from EIFO, Antler, The Yope Foundation, and angel investors associated with Ada Ventures

Interhuman’s innovative technology enables AI to interpret the non-verbal cues—such as facial expressions, body language, and tone of voice—that make up around 93% of human communication. It decodes these into contextual signals—like the difference between a smile paired with leaning forward versus leaning back—and delivers them in real time through a plug‑and‑play API or SDK

The European AI market, particularly the segment involving human–AI interaction, stands at $757 billion, with nearly 40% of that benefiting from AI capable of interpreting non‑verbal behavior

Remarkably, two of the three founders are women—a rarity in technical AI leadership roles—and Petcu has emphasized the importance of resilience and clear communication, even using their AI product to practice boundary setting

How Interhuman Plans to Use the Funding

• Develop and scale the platform, API, and core models.
